Thanks Aunt Kris!

I have worried about posting this today in fear that I might end up on Kara's Blog questioning my parenting tactics. So please be kind Kara. All three kids love to get the mail in fact it usually results in one of them crying each day but today the mail man brought it up to the door and had a long box that was wrapped. It was from Aunt Kris and Uncle Dan and the kids were going crazy over it. I convinced Niki it would be better to let them open it now so that on Christmas day all of the presents don't become one big mass that the kids don't appreciate who has has given them the gift. As you can see from the pictures they love the dress up clothes. My favorite is Anna she thinks she is a super hero and she is flexing her muscles. Thanks Aunt Kris!!!!

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth

If you would have asked me before becoming a parent some of the major events that would occur in my childs life I would have never include their teeth falling out. Was I wrong on that one for months Kymber has been agaonizing over the fact that she had not lost any teeth. Well the wait is over and she not only lost one but the following day the second followed. Kymber has given anyone permission to sing the song "all I want for Christmas is my two front teeth! I don't know I have seen anything make her so happy.

The twins turn three

The twins had their third birthday! It was quite the bash. Anna decided on the activities and she wanted to have a puppet show. Jillian didn't care as long as people brought presents. So we made puppets and yes people brought plenty of presents. It was extra fun this year because Grandma Pam and Grandpa Bud were in town. Now the countdown to Christmas!!!

Halloween was fun this year! It was truly a week long event with something for the kids everyday. Kymber was a witch and loved her costume. The twins were many things this year ranging from dragons to Elmo ending with a tickle bug and Jo Jo Circus. Here are some pictures.

Run Niki Run

Most of you know now that I (Greg) am the blogger in the family. Sorry 9th ward friends keep putting pressure on Niki we might get her there. It has been a while since my last post becasue we have had computer issues. We have them resolved and so I will get back on track. We had so much fun watching Niki run her first marathon Labor Day weekend. She claims to be disapointed but we are so proud of her. This picture is from the official finish line picture from the race. While Niki ran me and the girls played at the park. There was a stage at the park and Anna and Jillian performed The Sound of Music for those watching the race they received quite the applause from the audience. We are excited for the next race!

Graduation Day

This is Kymber at her pre-school graduation. She gave a speech; a wonderful rendition of bah-bah-black sheep. She had a slight problem being silly with the boys, we hope it is not a sign of things to come!!

1 Minute Cupcake

We wanted to share a fun recipe that Greg found at work. It is a 1 minute cupcake!! I know it sounds gross but you need to try it for yourself. Here is what you will need.
1 box angel food cake mix
1 box your favorite cake mix (we used carrot cake)
Combine both mixes dry into a zip lock bag. In your cocoa mug add 1/2 cup of the cake mix and 3 tbsp water and stir until the lumps are gone and then microwave for 1 minute. When your minute is up dump out the cake it will come right out. If you want add some frosting or sprinkles and enjoy. It is nice when you want a little treat but don't want a dozen cupcakes around to temp you. Try it and let us what you think!

Kymber

Kymber was very excited about her new short hair cut. She says that she "looks hot"! She is counting down the days until we go on vacation to Oregon; she is very excited to see everyone!

Jillian and Anna

Jillian is in the black and Anna is behind. They hate to be apart! Jillian is actually wearing Kymber's dress and Anna has swiped one of Kymber's headbands. It is a good thing Kymber is such a good sport.

Thanks to Kara

Thanks to the encouragement of kara we have finally created the Wieland Family Blog. We are hoping this will give us the motivation to be better at taking pictures and sharing more about our little family!!
